I'm pretty sure winter has officially passed us and the rainy season has arrived in full force. I am so not a Portlander--I carry an umbrella wherever I go and always try to avoid the rain at any cost. Call me a wuss, but I'm from the south where people run inside at the first sign of sprinkles of rain.

This weekend, after breakfast of course, we had about a 15 minute break in the rain while exploring Washington Park. You'd think that after living in Portland for over a year, I'd remember to wear waterproof clothing :)

If there's one thing greater than my love for shoes, it's my love for comfy shoes. I pretty much spend my weekends in my walking shoes. I recently purchased this blue pair or Nikes and I couldn't love them more. I'm not a fan of wearing "short socks" when you can see them obnoxiously peeping out the top. These Internationalists are great for leaving the socks behind.

It's been a little hard to want to keep track of my activity because of the rain. This French Bull band for the FitBit Flex makes me excited to get outside and get moving!
