Sunset from our balcony on Friday night. #nofilter
On Friday, we joined forces with a few other friends who live on our side of town for an "Apartment Crawl." The theme was margaritas, and everyone had to make a different type. We started at our place and worked our way up and around NW Portland drinking blended margaritas, margarita popsicles, rosé margaritas, and finally cadillac margaritas. Needless to say, I stopped after the popsicle and was good to go for the rest of the evening.
Saturday was SO foggy and rainy that Ryan and I slept in SUPER late and enjoyed the rest. The rest of the day was spent walking around downtown with the usual Starbucks check-in, shoefie shot of a new pair of SOREL rain boots, followed up with Cartel Land at the theater.
Have you heard about adult coloring books?! I'm not talking about coloring drawn out nudes (insert monkey face emoji). There are actually coloring books for adults that promote stress relief aka art therapy. I was one of those kids who spend HOURS coloring. Talk to my mom and she'll tell you I won every single coloring contest I entered. I stopped into Powell's Books an grabbed on along with a package of glitter fruit scented gel pens (DOES IT GET ANY BETTER THAN THAT?!...no.)
I also discovered the Koi Fusion truck that's right down the street from us. Ryan and I actually ate there again this evening because it was SO good.
Today was a super crazy day at work and it was nice to come home to this little surprise:
More SOREL boots! I already have this pair of the 1964 Premium Wedges in Purple Dahlia and Shale. However, when I saw this collection through Nordstrom, I could. not. resist. How cute are the camo soles?!
