California Wedding | First Looks | 11.14.15

Sharing a glimpse into our wedding, located at Cass Winery in Paso Robles, California. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting to host our close friends and family for the weekend. After a year and a half of planning, everything fell perfectly into place to make for an evening that Ryan and I won't soon forget. All photos were shot by Peer Johnson, who did such an amazing job wrangling all of our crazy friends and capturing every single moment.

Below you'll find scenes from our first looks + wedding party. Stay tuned for more photos from our ceremony and reception in the following weeks!

Subtle Holiday Sparkle

The holiday season is upon us and in full force. We successfully avoided the Black Friday madness and headed to Eugene for my first University of Oregon football game. (SO much more fun than all the Beaver's games we've attended!)

Football aside- this has to be the one outfit I've got on total repeat. For winter, a comfy pair of faux leather leggings is a must, and instantly glam up any look.

The boots above are part of SOREL's Holiday Collection and have been such a hit everywhere I go. From the sparkly laces to the metallic leather, topped off with faux fur around the ankles. Not to mention that they're basically like wearing fancy sneakers...I really don't think you can get any better than this for the holidays!

Another great addition to my holiday attire has been this tweed jacket. Not only is it adorable, it has gold incorporated into the weave. This outfit is 100% perfection for those of us who want to sparkle, but not be too loud about it.

Animal Print Casual, NBD

You'd think that growing up in Texas would make me an automatic lover of animal print, but no. I'd never guess that I would fall in love with this pair of SOREL booties and wear them with almost everything

From the sassy printed heel to the fact that I can wear these all day--I'm all about that bootie.

Once again, RocksBox to the rescue! I love having the ability to purchase pieces (at a discounted price!) from RocksBox each month. If I'm not feeing what they send me, then off it goes, back to RocksBox HQ and I'll get another 3 pieces within a few days.

I purchased this Nakamol Wrap Bracelet from one of the first sets RocksBox ever set me, and I wear it all the time. I'm have small wrists and fingers (my ring finger is a 2 3/4), so not a lot of jewelry fits me. However, this Nakamol bracelet is perfect because it's sizeable!

You can try RocksBox FREE for one month by clicking here and using the code toribff46.

Layers and SOREL Major Lace Mesh

Fall is in full swing and I am SO excited. Warm drinks, changing colors, and lots and lots of layers. I'm particularly partial to sweaters, shirts, anything that covered my bum--so this GAP zip sweater hits the nail on the head. It's the perfect thickness so you're not too cold or too hot. I paired it with my favorite pair of marsala colored skinnies and mesh SOREL boots, FTW.

OK, y'all. Here's your chance for a free month of RocksBox! This month I received this SLATE Lizzie layer necklace and I've worn it every chance I've had. I love pairing it with simple outfits that don't have much pizzaz because it gives the outfit a simple sparkle and adds a bit of interest.

Cate The Great x Tassles

Fall is by far one of my favorite seasons (not like there's too many to choose from!). BUT, I love transitioning my wardrobe and restocking my closet with cozy pieces. Most of all, I LOVE fall/winter footwear. This season, for SOREL, is no exception. I got this pair of Cate the Great Wedge Boots mid summer and started counting down the days until I could wear them. This day, I was a bit premature in my wardrobe decisions and had to bear the heat on a 90* day in Portland. Whatever- my footwear was on point, right? Either way, this boot is the perfect transition piece that'll carry you from fall into winter.

I can't say enough about how much I was not sold on this Kendra Scott necklace until it showed up on my doorstep inside my Rocks Box box. I'd seen a lot of other ladies donning it on Instagram and to be honest, didn't like it. Good thing I got to give it a go because I absolutely fell in love. It's definitely I piece I wouldn't buy on my own but I'm glad my Rocks Box stylist was thoughtful enough to send it over.

Weekend In Photos: Turning 30

Ho-lee-crap. I cannot believe I am 30 years old! My parents came in from Texas for the weekend and we had a great time wandering around Portland, eating and drinking. Fall (my favorite season) has arrived in Portland and I enjoyed showing my parents the changing colors, visiting a pumpkin patch, and getting lost in a corn maize. See below for links to many of the places we visited.

Friday night, heading out to pick up goodies for a charcuterie board for my parents arrival.

Morning coffee with my dad.

Stroll around the waterfront.

Admiring and smelling every.single.rose in the International Rose Test Garden.

Collage on Division. A Washi Tape dream!

Coffee + soda + grapefruit juice at Dapper and Wise? Still trying to decide if I liked it.

Corn Maize on Sauvie Island. Fun for 15 minutes then...WHERE IS THE EXIT?!

Love me some cute lil pumpkins.

Birthday breakfast at 23 Hoyt.

Cheers to day drinking!

Anna Mara flowers on Grand Ave.

Getting artsy amongst the random treasures inside Rejuvenation.

We went into Saint Cupcake for one and left with a dozen.

'Big Top' was my favorite.

Enjoying fall after dropping my parents off to fly back home.
